MaaMa Georgian Food, by Cheese and Bread Adding to the melting pot of dining options found throughout the coastal city of Norwalk, Georgian Authentic Cuisine makes its debut in the form of MaaMa Georgian Food. Restaurateurs Andrea Archvadze and Akaki Andguladze, who came to the US from Georgia (located between Turkey and Russia), opened their Cheese & Bread concept in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, in 2023. Their casual neighborhood eatery, which specializes in authentic Georgian cuisine, a diverse food culture influenced by Iran, Asia, Turkey, and the Mediterranean, was an instant success. The duo’s South Norwalk restaurant menu features traditional Georgian dishes deeply rooted in meat, vegetables, leavened bread, cheese, and unique herbs and spices .
